300 DPI High-Quality JPEG for printing
Friendly note: given the high-resolution of the designs and backgrounds, JPEG files may take some time to be created and to download.
JPEGs without bleed can be used for:
JPEGs with bleed are used by both online and brick & mortar professional printers
Most professional printers will ask for 1/8" bleed margin - allowing them to have some error margins when cutting your printable. You can check on their website or ask them directly if they need bleed.
It may happen that for some templates, eg. signs (with or without background), the size of the files generated is too large for your printer shop upload service or for your browser. By lowering the resolution to 150 DPI, the space taken by those files can be reduced.
Note: Multiple pages will be downloaded as separate JPEG's in a Zip file.
300 DPI High-Quality PDF for printing
Friendly note: given the high-resolution of the designs, the PDF file may take some time to be created and to download.
Print your PDF at home, office or at a copy center, then trim your cards & printables.
We recommend copy shops such as Staples©, FedEx© Kinkos or Office Max©.
For pre-cut invitations printing, photo cards printing and professional printing, use JPEGs instead.
We recommend using trim marks only for home printing. Some copy shops will not accept trim marks.
The PDF file will be created with the exact size of the template - with no borders. If you have a 5x7" card, the pages in the PDF with standard mode will be 5x7".
We recommend this mode for invitation, menu or program front & back printing.
Friendly tip: when printing, select "Actual Size" on your printer.
Leaflet mode puts two pages side by side (with no space in-between). If you have a foldable program template, Leaflet mode will put the two inside pages (typically left and right page with different texts) side by side with no white space between them, so you can print the program and fold it!
We recommend this mode for folded program or leaflet printing.
Repeat mode allows you to repeat the same design as many time as possible on one sheet of paper. If you want to print multiple times the same table number on one PDF page, choose this option.
We recommend this mode for batch printing of identical tags, thank-you cards and recipe cards.
Optimize paper usage mode places as many different versions of the template as possible on the paper. If you have a canva with two (or more) different numbers of the table card opened on it, this option will create a PDF with all the different versions (with different numbers) of the table card.
We recommend this option for table cards and placement cards.
Select the paper size you will be printing on.
